Daily Fix is a weekday news briefing for readers who want a clear account of what happened, a serious center-right analysis, the strongest counterargument, and the primary sources needed to check the work.

Why we exist

The internet does not suffer from a shortage of headlines. It suffers from a shortage of useful structure. Political stories are routinely reduced to outrage, tribal shorthand, or a rewrite of somebody else’s reporting. Daily Fix is built around a harder standard: explain the consequential story in about five minutes without blurring confirmed fact, interpretation, and prediction.

Our perspective

Daily Fix approaches public affairs from a center-right perspective. We say that plainly because readers deserve to know the lens through which analysis is made. Perspective does not excuse factual sloppiness. Reported claims should be sourced, analysis should be labeled, and opposing arguments should be represented in a form their advocates would recognize.
