This policy explains how Daily Fix, a publication of Ikan Media Inc., collects and uses information when you visit DailyFix.org, subscribe to The Morning Fix, vote in a Daily Fix Pulse question, or interact with an advertisement or sponsored message.

Information you provide

When you subscribe, we collect your email address, the page and form through which you subscribed, the date and time of consent, and technical information used to prevent abuse and verify delivery. When you contact us, we receive the information in your message.

Poll responses

Daily Fix Pulse responses are used to display aggregate community results and identify editorial topics. They are not scientific polls. Casting a vote does not subscribe you to email. We do not sell a person-level poll response as a political-affiliation profile or use it to create political-opinion advertising audiences.

Website and advertising data

We and our service providers may collect device, browser, IP address, referral, pageview, link-click, cookie, and advertising information for security, analytics, site operation, audience measurement, and advertising. Where required, advertising technologies are activated only after the appropriate consent choice.

Email and advertising partners

We use service providers to verify addresses, deliver email, host the website, measure performance, and serve advertising. We may send clearly labeled sponsored messages to subscribers who have not opted out. Advertisers may receive aggregate campaign reporting and responses they collect on their own landing pages; Daily Fix does not hand an advertiser its raw subscriber list.
